The meaning of privacy is to not watch over or disturb other people, media companies break the laws and ethics. A big example of the media taking people privacy is the News Of The World scandal where the global news company hacked into people who had hot topic conversation on the phone that could be used in newspapers one victim was called Sara Payne who was reportedly hacked by news of the world after her seven year old daughter was murdered in West Sussex.
An example of copyright law is Justin Bieber who has been taken to court for his smash of a record ''sorry'' produced by himself and skrillex by and indie singer and song writer Winter Hinterland her claim was that ''sorry'' plays an eight second of her song six times. As soon as you hear her song you can see that it has been copied from the song ''Ring the Bell''. On a Facebook post Hinterland wrote about suing biebs saying that she put blood, sweat, and tears in to making her final product of music. She had already approached Justin Bieber and asked for credit of the tune and he did not reply.
In defensive Skrillex posted this on his twitter which is a video of the making of the tune. I think that when Dienel first came up to Bieber he should of at least gave her writing credit.
